Iconophagy: images that feed on images. Three series. The Future — the young feed the old in a world that has spent everything. Lingua Nova — an alphabet generated with a machine and finished by hand: unreadable, yet human. Retrofuturistic Windows — thresholds onto an archetypal past filtered through technology. Nothing explains itself. The images are offered as open icons.

Notes

The Future

The young feed the old, in a world that believed it could outlive death and spent everything. Food as offering, absence, distorted ritual. The future is not a promise: it is a debt.

Lingua Nova

An invented alphabet, generated in dialogue with a machine and finished by hand. Not to be understood but perceived: what we cannot say, we can still generate.

Retrofuturistic Windows

Mythical animals, children and women at the edge of suspended worlds. Windows not onto the future but onto our archetypal past, reworked by a technology trained on humanity's visual memory.
